1. Introduction
KickStart English Ltd (company no. 13086806) is the seller of the service. Our registered office is 184 Heath Road, Birmingham, B30 1HF, England. You can contact us at hello@kickstart-english.co.uk.
These terms apply when you create an account, book or purchase a lesson or package, or otherwise use the service. The booking confirmation and the policy versions accepted at checkout form part of your contract with us.
2. Services
We sell scheduled, live 55-minute one-to-one English-language lessons delivered through Zoom. A £10 trial lesson may be bought up to three times by a learner. A £94 package contains four lesson credits (£23.50 each) and credits expire six months after purchase. Prices are in GBP; we are not VAT registered; there are no booking or platform fees.
KSE remains responsible for the service. Contracted teachers deliver lessons on KSE’s behalf. Learners do not contract directly with a teacher; KSE is a managed school, not an open tutor listing site.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate account and booking information, keep your account credentials secure, and use the lesson link only for your own booked lesson. We may ask for reasonable information needed to protect accounts and deliver the service.
4. Lesson boundaries and recording
We provide teaching, coaching and language-learning support. We do not write academic papers, complete assignments, take examinations, impersonate students, or guarantee examination results.
Lesson recording is optional and requires separate consent. If you decline, your confirmed lesson still goes ahead and follows the normal non-recorded/manual lesson-report path. See the Privacy notice for retention details.
5. Cancellation, consumer rights and contact
The cancellation and refund policy explains the 24-hour operational cancellation rule, package expiry, incident remedies and refunds. It does not limit rights that apply to consumers under law, including statutory cancellation rights where applicable.
