We use CEFR bands (A1–C1) as a practical reference so teachers, learners, and materials align on what "intermediate" means.

No formal certification
KickStart does not issue CEFR certificates or guarantee exam results. We teach speaking; official tests are a separate path.

When a report includes a CEFR band, it is approximate context for your teacher — not a formal level verdict or certificate.
What we do not promise
No guaranteed level jumps, no automated certification, and no pretending one lesson changes your CEFR band. Trust comes from consistent practice and teacher feedback.
Lesson Maker
Prep for your booked lesson — one of three options
After you book a 1:1 lesson, you choose how to prepare: organic speaking, teacher-chosen plan, or Lesson Maker.
- Choose your prep mode
Inside the learner app, pick organic speaking, let your teacher choose the lesson plan, or open Lesson Maker — only available once a lesson is booked.
- Lesson Maker workflow
Add a source URL and a short focus prompt. KickStart generates a lesson plan you can preview, attach to the booking, or abandon and retry.
- Fallback always works
If Lesson Maker is unavailable or the output is not right, your booking stays safe — switch to teacher-chosen or organic prep, or contact support before the lesson.
